pomeranian coughing

my pomeranian coughs all the time - I have tried everything-lots of medications some herbal treatments - 4 veternarians, 3 specialists (including heart) and have tried a nebulizer - please help me!!!!!!!

Cough

My Pom is 12 and is coughing too. He has coughed throughout his life... sometimes not at all. I have been told it was allergies. Along with him licking his legs... the front of his front legs. I occasionally give him benedryl. Other then that it doesn't seem to bother him. Any other suggestions?

I have determined that my Pom coughs because she licks and eats her hair. I have taken her to the vet a couple times as well...and after many tests there is nothing wrong. I think it is hair balls!

I feel your pain!

The best way to find out what is going on with your dog is to take her to get a broncoscopy (not cheap) Pebbles is 10 and she is having a real hard time with her throught. they are telling me that to help her will cost me $3000.00 My heart is breaking. please take her to a specialist and catch this while you can do something or make her as comfortable as possible.
