What should or do you feed your 13 week old poms, I have been feeding puppy pedigree chum, but on going to the vet he said I have to change to Royal Canin but it gives her the runs.

Paid vets???

When we got our first dog his previous vet told us to have him on the Science diet. We couldn't find it at our local store so we switched to Iams(I think it was, one of those brands) and when we went to his current vet she said that some veterinary offices are paid to recommend a certain brand of food. I think that unless there was a certain reason for you to switch, it's OK.

Mine eat Kibles n Bits and 1/4 tray of Cesarsand a little science diet dog food. I just put it in their dish at suppertime. They eat all the good stuff right away and the science diet and Kibbles is always some left in the dish so they can have the next day whenever they want it. I have two and they only eat out of their own dish unless the other dog left something real good. Then they are known to snitch from the other dish. I think they can pretty well get along on any good dog food.
