Pomeranian hair growth

How long does it take for a Male pomeranian hair to grow back after a Bald Trim?
Some guy gave me his Pomeranian because he had to move out of town and couldn't take care of his dog. I took him in but the problem with him was he was covered of flees and his hair was in very bad knots. Some knots were just to big. My mom felt bad for him and trimmed all the hair but just left the tail and the side of his ears hair. We washed him up with flee medicine and now he seems really happy. No more itching like crazy.

Depending on the nutrition you give your pom, but their hair might take up to a good 2 years to grow back full length.

I rescued a 10 year old pom a year ago and had to shave him because of the BAD matts also...now there are a few little patches of black bur growing in but the rest is still grey/bald undercoat which isn't growing. Researching how to get it to grow myself and have been bathing every two weeks/burshing every day...

I don't know how long it'll take for the hair to grow back but I'm in the same boat; my dog was out socializing and became infested very badly from another animal. I've cut his hair very short and I'm hoping it's long and pretty for winter when it comes. If you have an update on how long it has taken for your dog, I'd love to know.
