Pomeranian has been really Needy

My Pomeranian started acting really strange about yesterday afternoon. Since then she has needed about ten times the attention she normally gets and basically, demands it. She lies on top of my fiance and on his head at night (something she did when she was a puppy, but hasn't done in a while). This morning I woke up to her right next to me. If I stop petting her she claws me (we're talking - this has been ALL day). She stoof next to me and stared at me all day. I've taken her out about 30 times in case that's all she wanted.

I don't think she has eaten or drank as much as usual either... but need to keep more of an eye on that today. I'm not sure if she's not feeling well? We just had a new baby 8 months ago and I'm wondering - is this her breaking point? Is she demanding attention now? I am really worried about her because this is very strange behavior for her and completely out of the blue - not like a gradual transition to "neediness." Has anyone had this same problem? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
