Pomeranian Never Barks

I have never heard my 5 month old Pomeranian bark. Is this normal?

Hi Anonymous - thanks for the reply about the "lack" of dog barking.

Although I found your comment very interesting, sadly, that is not the case in this household (having more than one dog). My 5mo is the only dog/pet in the home.

BUT, since the time of my original writing/question, I finally heard my Pom bark "once" at a cat across the street.

I look forward to communicating with everyone and learning more about my miniature Pom. Are they just adorable OR WHAT?

Barking

I have a 10 month Pomarian she never brked until will took her with us on a trip and then she bark at every little thing. Do you have another dog at
home that barks? We figured it out with her that she did not have to at home because the other dogs did the barkingfeeble and when she was with us on the trip she had to be the protector, after we got home with the other dogs she became quite again and does not bark, other than that I don't know. Good luck.
