Pomeranian Never Makes a Sound

7 month pom female. Never heard a bark, growl or any other sound in 5 months of having her? She doesn't make a peep and seems to have very low energy. Otherwise eats, pees, poops and sleeps 10 to 15 hours a day if I let her. Have had her 5 months and potty training isn't going well either. Can someone please help?

take her to the vet

She sounds sickly if she is so inactive and sleeps so much. As the previous poster mentioned, she may be hypoglycemic. I just got my second Pom puppy and am feeding her wet food twice a day, plus dry food at her will in order to avoid hypoglycemia. People say that dogs should be fed on a schedule, but there is no way that I could do that with my Poms. They eat randomly throughout the day, and not a lot at a time - they kind of snack on food I suppose. If I fed them on a schedule, they would definitely lose weight and become unhealthy. I prefer to keep their food dishes full at all times so that they can eat whenever they want.

Maybe hypoglycemic

Poms can get hypoglycemic if they don't eat enough.....they have to always have food in their dish...the symptoms you describe definitely seem like it...you should take her to the vet asap
