pomeranian peeing on stuff

Hello, I have a 11 month old pom and he is peeing on stuff if he gets mad at you. I really love this dog and I just dont know what to do. My husband and son want me to get rid of him, but he is my baby and I do love him so please help.

Possible Solution

I have a great solution for you if you don't want to get him fixed. Try a tinkle belt. You can purchase them online. I did that with my male and it works wonders. It is hardly ever wet because if he goes to mark, he just pees on his belly and he doesn't like the feeling. Give it a try!

territorial?

A lot of times they are marking their territory as they dont feel a part of the "pack". Now if he has just been outside to relieve himself and still continuing to pee inside, you may want to have your vet check him out for any urinary tract infections. Also there are deterrent sprays you can find at PetSmart, Petco..etc

peeing

Has he been neutered? I have been told by many that this helps. I have a female ..different breed.. that pees on floor when we leave her spmetimes because she is mad at us. She is now 14 yrs old so I guess I won't have to worry about it much longer. She was a wonderful and loyal dog otherwise so I just cleaned alot. Good luck with your dog. I tried to get in contact with the dog whisperer to ask him but never could get to him. I guess only the wealthy get to him and I have never seen this problem addressed on his program and I'm sure that many people have this problem.
