The Pomeranian Poodle Mix

aka "Pom-A-Poo", "Pomapoo" or "Pooranian"

A Pomeranian Poodle mix breed dog is a cross between the Pomeranian and the Poodle. They are sometimes known as the Pooranian, Pom-A-Poo or Pomapoo.

They can vary quite a bit in size, ranging from 3 - 14 pounds, and 8 - 15 inches tall. Their life expectancy is 15 - 17 years.

The coat is generally medium length, curly or wavy, and may be white, beige, apricot, orange, red, brown, black or a mix of these colors. Like purebred Poms, they need daily light brushing and only occasional bathing when the coat becomes dirty.

Pomapoos tend to learn well with consistent training. They are friendly, loyal and intelligent. With proper socialization, they make good pets with older children. They adapt easily to most living situations, although they do need a moderate amount of exercise.
