Pomeranian Puppy Weight

Next week I get my new puppy. Her breeder updated me yesterday and said that as of yesterday she weighs 1lb 4oz at 11 weeks old.

Last week, the breeder said that she weighed 1 and half lbs.

Is it normal for her to lose weight as she grows?? Is 1lb 4oz too small at 11 weeks?

She's had recent vet checks and two sets of shots and her vet said she's in perfect health, but I'm just a worrier. Do you think this is normal and she will be healthy?

Hi Kerry, That weight sounds fine. I got my little pom at 8 weeks and she weighed just 2kg which is 1 lb she is 14 months old and now weighs 7kg which is aroud 3lb 8 oz.
Good luck with your new doggie you will love her.
