Pomeranian Skin Turning Black

Spot On Her Side
Hi, I have a 1 1/2 year old Pomeranian, Female, who I have never had any problems with until recently, this is the whole story and I ask that anyone who may be able to offer advice or information please let me know as I am really stressing over this, thanks
About 45 days ago my step-daughter came down for the weekend and it turned out that she had ringworm and we were not notified by her mother, at the same time my Pom had, had a couple of ticks so I applied that Advantage treatment to her, not knowing it was only for fleas, so, being stupid, I wiped her down, not bathing her, and applied a tick treatment to her also, about 3 days later I noticed she was itching really bad and her hair, in one spot on her side, looked really funny.
After looking at her skin I noticed a 2x2 inch section of her skin was red and inflamed so I cut her hair and started applying a Hot Spot cream to the area, 2 days later I noticed she had a round quarter-sized mark on her so I assumed it was ringworm and she had gotten it from my step-daughter so I began putting Lotramin on it and the quarter-sized mark began to fade and the scab began lifting so I figured all was fine and it was going away but now, today, I noticed that her skin in this area has turned black, and there is skin on her stomach and hind legs that has also turned black.
I am really concerned about this and need to know what could possibly be the cause, if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I have already read about BSD, Black Skin Disease, that Pomeranian's are prone to, also there is one other thing, she came into heat 2 weeks ago and that was when I noticed that her belly skin and hind legs had a blackish tint to them but I thought it was just her skin color until I noticed today that the area on her side had also turned black, if there could possibly be a hormonal change causing this.
She has not lost any hair anywhere else just a little bit where that quarter-sized scabby area was, please help me if you can, it will probably be a few days before I can get her in to see a vet, thanks
