Do Pomeranians wag their tails? My best friend owns a Pom & he has never wagged his tail even when he's happy, unlike my Papillon/Havanese who constantly wags hers. I appreciate any answers anyone can give us. thx.
I'm glad my pom is not the only one that doesn't wag his tail. I think I've seen a slight wag ONCE, otherwise it just lays back over his back. He's very independent, and is affectionate only on his terms when HE wants it. I had a pom years ago who was much more affectionate. I guess dogs are like people--each one an individual with his own personality traits. I do miss that affirmation that comes from seeing a happy wag, though.

Yes they do wag their tails. I have 2 poms and they both wag their tails. Especially when we return home and are very glad to see us.
