Poms tail was cut by groomer

The groomer gave my Pom an all over trim and cut his tail to less than have its length. Now when you see him from behind you see his butt, not that cute tail wiggling back and forth. Will his tail hair grow long again?

It may take 3 to 4 weeks but his tail should be just as beautiful as it once was.
