potty training my pom

My 5 month old pom will not go potty outside, if she hears the wind, the leaves a car she just stands there and shakes! I am crate training her & I take her straight outside & she just stands there (20 min. or so). She likes the potty pads, but I am trying to get her to go outside (we live in a condo). I get up at least 2x in the night to try to make this happen with no success!

potty problems

I have 2 4month old poms ..one of them will go outside to potty as the female one will not...she just stands there also..have been training these pups since they were 5 weeks old and my little pommie girl still will not go outside to pott...she always waits till she is inside to go...i clean constantly to get the scent out but she still won't go outside...HELP PLEASE...very frustrating

When I began to train my pom to go potty I started with the wee wee pads in the the play pen. Then putting it outside the pen. Then in next to the door to go outside. Eventually the pad was outside the door. My pom goes potty outside but I still keep a pad by the door for emergencies.

puppies HATE it outside!!

I am having the sam problem! I have two pom puppies, one is 17 weeks and the other is 11 weeks and Both HATE it outside!! all they do is stand there and not do anything or try and get back to the door and wont focus on potting at all. it is very frustrating because we come back inside after 10-20 mins (and it's cold here in Michigan) and they usually end up going in the house! I am wondering if using the potty pads would confuse them????

I wonder if you move the potty pad outside the door too and see if that helps the pup.
