Prada is a pom-silk.

Prada is a eight month old pomeranian and silky terrier mix ( pom-silk ). She resembles the pomeranian breed more than the silkies. Her face shows the terrier in her but her body and fur are that of the pomeranians. She weighs 4.5 lbs and is six inches tall and will not grow much more.

Prada is very energetic and loves to play. She's posessive of "her" toys and "her" people and does not believe in sharing. However, she is not aggressive or snippy. When she wants to snuggle,you'll never feel more loved. She is easily introduced to other people and animals and actually loves cats (even though most of them are bigger than her!).

She isn't a big eater but loves to "steal" food or treats from the other dogs and cats, often just hiding her treasure instead of eating it.
I'm finding though that the older she gets...the more she sheds. She has a bath every couple of days and requires a GOOD brushing every day so the fur doesn't become hopelessly tangled. She is very tolerant of her grooming but I recommend you start this routine early on so it becomes a "normal" thing in their lives.

Overall...Prada is an absolute joy to have around. I love this pomeranian mix and encourage anyone who may have an opportunity to own one to go ahead and do it. You won't regret it!
