Puppy cries when brushed

How do I get my 8wk old pomeranian used to me brushing him? He cries when I brush him and I am gentle when brushing him. Any tips?

Sores causing the pain when brushing?

Hi - My cousin has a Pomeranian who winces at certain spots when brushed. My cousin told me that Charlie, the 14 yr old dog, has growths and sores all over the body. Have you checked your dog's body for anything that is sensitive? Regards from NJ.
