My little Rags

My Pomimo is the sweetest dog ever! I got him from the Humane Society in Eagle, CO. He's gray and white (mostly gray) with a little brown in his cute little ears. He gets along with all of my cats and every person and dog he meets. He was given away twice - once because his first owners were moving (geez) and the second time because the wife got pregnant (what are people thinking?). Anyway, he's been the best dog and plays with my other two dogs who adore him. He's a total baby and has to be near me or on my lap at all times. Very sweet.

What a beautiful dog and bless your heart for taking him in; sounds like he has finally found a permanent home. I don't understand people giving dogs away. I know sometimes it cannot be helped but geez, to me it would be like giving my kid away. Dogs have such feelings and they have to suffer severely when they are given away. I have a sheltie/pom mix and she is the sweetest little dog. She grew to be 12 pounds. You can find her under Michaela on the Pomerainian mix breed site. She stands up and dances and twirls around for us.

Yes, Rags came into my life after my husband died. I still believe he sent him to me as I always wanted to adopt a pomeranian but wanted one that needed a home - Rags came along 1 month after the love of my life died.

Bless you for taking in this sweetheart! It drives me crazy when people give away their dogs for reasons like that. Although, it does let many of us dog lovers to end up with these wonderful dogs! Mine's a Jackaranian that I ended up with after his original family went through a divorce (and they bought the dog during the whole mess to cheer up the 3 and 5 year old.. ugh!). I'm sure glad he's in my life now, though.
