Sasha @ 10 weeks old

Sasha @ 10 weeks old

Sasha is white with some light tan markings around the top of her head and ears. She was born on 10/23/08 and currently weighs 5 lbs and is a bundle of fun. She is extremely playful and lovable. She is a great lap dog and loves car rides...but, she does have her willful side.

Her house training is going well, but she prefers to follow without her leash and protests with it...so we will be doing more training in this area. She quickly has mastered the stairs in our home and runs up & down them regularly. She is a very quick learner...when she wants to...lol. She loves everyone she meets and LOVES to play. She is a great companion.

My response is a little late...lol. Sasha is now 8 months old and weighs about 15 lbs. Her vet says she probably won't get much bigger. She had so much energy as a little pup that we got her a friend, a toy pomeranian, we named, Chloe. Right now Sasha towers over Chloe, but they don't care, they love each other and constantly play. Oddly Chloe is the alpha dog between them and Sasha is so gentle with her.

I am so glad I bought pet insurance for my puppies! Chloe has fallen off our bed several times and unfortunately she suffered 2 broken legs (2 different times) and poor little Sasha got a fox tail embedded in her face and with her fur, it was never found until her little face started to puff up and she had to undergo surgery. They both are all better now.

Sasha has been an absolute gem. She is the sweetest little girl. The vet tech said she could not believe how sweet Sasha is. Her experience with American Eskimos (even the mixed breed) is that they have bitten or nipped her, especially when they had to have surgery. Sasha gave her little licks on her hand, even though she was feeling bad.

Sasha whizzed through her puppy training classes and she is so well behaved and so smart!! The ONLY problem we have is she loves to bark when someone comes into the house or knocks at the door. We are working on that one...because I have heard that this breed can be yappers. I shake a coke can with pennies in it and she hates it!!! And it shuts her up!! :)

Your puppy looks exactly like my Molly! How adorable. I remember when I got her in 2007, spring, memorial day, she looked just like your baby. She got so much attention and was so good, I want and got her brother. These dogs are so wonderful and so loving. Emjoy your beautiful little girl!!

Hi Sammy's Mom,

I was looking for Sammy's picture, I would love to see him. How old is he & how much does he weigh? I asked the vet how big Sasha is going to be and he's guessing about 12-15 lbs, so I don't know if that is the norm for this hybrid. Looking at the other pomimo photos it appears to be. She's so cute, I'm hoping she does stay on the small side. Our blonde mini pomeranian, Mattie, passed away on 12/30/08 at 8 yrs old and Sasha is definitely helping us through the grieving process.

Las Vegas weather is in mid-60's during the day and it's very nice. The tourism is down due to the economy...so there are some great room rates...you should check it out.
