My ex bought Scarlet from a breeder in Miami 6 y. ago as a puppy.

Weighing in at 14 lbs. she is far beyond the standard, but has proven to be anything but a lap dog!

She was introduced to water early and loves to retrieve a ball, frizbe, or a duck or even a goose from water. And she has the nose of a retriever for finding downed birds in heavy cover.

Her first love is chasing a squirrel up a tree or chasing deer from the yard!

Besides her obvious beauty, she is the most friendly dog toward people I have owned. Virtually everyone who she has met loves her.

She was sold as a purebred, but her size challenges that....and she is an extremely fast runner with great endurance in swamps, streams, or forest.
