I rescued a pom who had severe fleas and matting. I had her shaved except for head, legs & tail. Now I am concerned because I have heard that you shouldn't shave them because their fur won't grow back correctly. Have I messed up? It was recommend to do this by the vet because of the poor condition her coat was in.
