SOPHIE - half dachshund/half pomeranian

The first day we brought Sophie home

Sophie is adorable. She favors her dachshund side a bit more, but that feisty temper of her's is all Pommy!
She is a fearless little thing. Her best buddy is our half border collie, half aussie, male dog, Ben. He's much bigger than little Sophie, but she decides who eats what, when and where!
She is strong willed but not a bad girl, by nature. She usually does what mommy says! She is the light of my life. I have spinal stenosis and Sophie helps me enormously with my pain management. She makes me laugh all the time. I let her sleep with me and she burrows to the end of the bed so I don't tuck the covers in---I want her to get plenty of air. We take her everywhere in the colder months. She loves going bye-bye in the car.
Benny adores her, as well. She is his little baby girl and he takes good care of her.
I shouldn't get sad on her birthdays, but I don't want to ever lose my little baby girl.

Can't believe how small your dog looks, unless that was a big pillow he was on. Cute. Glad to hear how the older dog looks to the younger one and is protective and even accepts orders form the smaller one..like when to eat and stuff. They will be good buddies that way. Enjoy them! Sure is cute!

ADORABLE

What a precious dog. Definitely favors the Dashhound but she is so pretty. I have a 1/2 pom 1/2 sheltie and she is so precious to me. I know what you mean about wanting her with you forever. She'll be there for a very long time and I'm sure a very devoted pet.
