Spaying a Pomeranian

I have not yet spayed my Pomeranian. Are there any health issues that I should be aware of because of this?

Cancer is one of the main reasons to spay and neuter your pet. Mine died from ovarian cancer. If she had been spayed she stood a better chance not to have gotten it. I just got my male Pom neutered. He is calmer, not spraying and is relatively cancer safe now. Good luck, God bless
