Starfox is a Pom...something...

Starfox or Mozilla?

I don't really know what Starfox is. We "rescued" him from a Mall that most likely got him from a Puppy Mill. We fell in love with him because he is very VERY sweet, even tempered, not yippy and loves everyone and everything!
He is a head taller than most true Poms I've seen..even as a puppy, he was twice as big as who the store guy claimed was his "brother".
He also has much shorter fur than a real Pom...although he isn't completely short haired.
He is 6 months old and still growing...well everything but his hair.
He is also starting to have a slight wave on the fur on his back...not characteristic of a Pom.

I'm hoping someone can help me classify this sweatheart!

about your dog

Your dog looks alot like our Buddy. Ours is a Jack Russell and Pom. We had a doggie DNA done on him and they can tell you the top 4 breeds in your dog. Our dog had only 2 breeds. It cost a little under $200. Our dogs hair on his back turned wavy as he got about the age of yours also. And the hair on the back of his hind legs grew long. I trim that when he gets his bath. Our dog is on this website under a Jackaranian named Buddy. Your dog is beautiful. Good luck with him...they are a good disposition but tend to bark at things and other dogs as they get older...but they are sooooo worth it....Mary

Hi, I live in Eagle and rescued a Pom american eskimo. I guess they call them a Pomino. Mine has the long hair (look for Rags on this website). His hair is wavy in the back and he has some white in his tail and face. Sweet dispostion as well. Whatever he is, he's lucky he found such a loving home. Enjoy him whatever he is. :)
