My Pom mix is 10 years old. I wanted to breed her, but life had other ideas and I never got to. I'm worried about pyometra and now thinking I should get her spayed. One vet told me not do it since she's older, an indoor dog, and rarely (if ever) comes into contact with other dogs. What to do?
