Tooth and eye problems

My 5 year old Pomeranian bitch has recently lost 2 teeth, and now has an eye infection that i was told is Cataracts and normal, but im worried for her. She is still young. How is this happening?

I recently started giving her dry dog food while usually she had cooked chicken and homecooked food. Soon after her new diet she started having major hairloss in chunks, but now its back to normal. Whats going on?
