I have an Eight year old Pomeranian. When she was younger she also had two sets of teeth, the new ones grew in without the old ones falling out. The vet removed the baby teeth because they didn't fall out. Never had any problems with the removal or teeth problems afterward.

Two rows of teeth by: Lena
Hi Ashley, Here i can help as my 8 month old Gina had both her adult teeth and baby teeth for 8 months. At first we thought she was different. She was never in pain (as a matter of fact she liked having that many teeth and using them to her advantage). Our dentist friend advised us that she had both her baby teeth and adult teeth at 7 months when he saw her. He said that as long as she is not in pain its not an issue. I took her to the vet for her visit and he said it would be best to take them out as she is 8 months old it could become infected or eventually cause her pain. Funny enough a week later 1 fell off so i took her to get the others removed. So yes though rare the can actually have both teeth at the one time. as she is young i would say give your vet a call and just find out the best thing to do. I was suprised that it didnt cost me much at all AUD$110 for all 3 teeth removed, anasthetic and one day at vet for monitoring.
Both Belle and Yogi are absolutely adorable. Hope this has assisted you :o)
