The Weeranian

The Weeranian is a cross between the Pomeranian and the West Highland White Terrier. These dogs are usually 5 - 20 pounds, with a height of 7 - 12 inches.

Their coats are long and wavy, and may be white, tan, orange, red, black or brown in color. Their coats will look their best when brushed daily and bathed only occasionally.

Pom Westie mixes are generally happy, intelligent, and loyal. These dogs may have the temperament of either parent breed. Some are better than others in families with children. Most don't do well with small children or pets, although with socialization, others may be just fine with other pets in the home.

Gentle and consistent training works best when working with these dogs, and they typically do not require a lot of exercise.

Life expectancy is up to 16 years.
