Meet Wesley :)

I got Wesley last night, :)
The ad said he was 6 weeks but i believe he is just under 5. Ive already been trying to potty train him, i tryed getting him to use his newpaper last night at aroung 4 am, and he wasnt too sure about it and didnt really want to use it. (i think he was scared of the noise) But this morning i noticed he was sniffing around so i put him on his paper and told him to go potty and when he walked off of it i set him back on. and told him to go potty again. after he tryed walking off three times he finally understood and went on his paper! Second try too! haha hes very smart.

Congratulations on your new puppy! 5 weeks is VERY young! My Dreamer was a Collie/Shepherd who I rescued from a farm where she was dumped at about 5 weeks old. It took over a year of special food and calcium suppliments before she was back on track. The vet said 8 weeks is the youngest a pup should be weaned from it's Mum, but sometimes you have no choice. Dreamer had 15 happy years with me and I still miss her. Enjoy your new little one!
