What is the best diet for a pomeranian?

Charley, our 8-9 year old pomeranian doesn't like dry dog food. We tried a "refrigerated type chub" and for a brief while he ate that but now will only eat it or the dry food in desperation. I have fed him chicken (roasted) but am concerned that is not "complete" food for his diet> What should I be feeding him? We inherited him from my mothero-in-law who doesn't know exactly how old he is.

Ask your vet what he would reccommend for your dog. Don't start with the "people" food or they won't want anything else. Mine are spoiled. I give them a combo of Kibbles n Bits, Science Diet, 1/4 tray of Ceasers and aboiut 2 bites of people food in their dish for their supper meal. I wish I had listened to my vet. It would be so much easier and better for the dogs too. They are now highly spoiled.
