think about humans...the older you get, the more problems occur in pregnancy, etc... Do you love your pom? Please, to be safe, I would say 5 years old and don't make her into a factory. This takes years and health off of a dog. I've heard of breeders using their dams for up to 5 litters...I think that is a shame.
