WHICH BRAND OF CHEW TOYS ARE SAFE?

I HAVE TWO LITTLE BOYS,THEY ARE BROTHERS BORN ON FEB. 14 2009 1-5 POUNDS 1- 6 POUNDS THEY LOVE TO CHEW ON THIER NYLA BONES I CHANGE THEM EVERY MONTH BECAUSE THE ENDS GET CHEWED TO MUCH I HAVE TO CUT THE ENDS OFF EVERY WEEK ...I HAVE JUST RECENTLY HEARD THAT THE NYLA BONES ARE VERY DANGEROUS FOR DOGS ...IS THIS TRUE? AND IF SO WHAT BRAND OF BONE IS SAFE?...PS I TOOK THE NYLA BONES AWAY AND GAVE THEM REAL BONES WITH APPLES AND PEANUT BUTTER INSIDE..IT DIDNT WORK VERY WELL.... IT ONLY TOOK THEM ABOUT 30 MIN. AND THEY HAD EATEN ALL OF THE INSIDE... AND THEN GROWLED AT EACH OTHER OVER THE BONES ...SO NOW THEY HAVE NONE.. THANK YOU

I heard that the Kong is a good toy for dogs.

[[my experience]] But i have a 1 year old pom now and he pretty much likes any toy. He has a big chewing problem and i think it's so cute. I would buy him the squeeky chew toys from petco and pet extreme....spending like $10 a toy. and he would chew it so much and take out the squeeker and just leave the toy and play with that. So i just started buying him little plush toys from the stores usually $2 or $3 and he loves those.

It's not really the brand of the toy that's important it's if your dog likes it or not.
