Will Pom hair grow back after patellar luxation surgery?

My pom of 11 months had a patellar luxation surgery two months ago. She is a triple coat blue Pom. The surgeon had to shave half of her back and the luxated leg for "surgery sanitary obligation". I notice that the hair is growing very slowly. At this date, she has only 1/3 of an inch back on her back (it seems to grow faster on her leg).

The color of the coat seems the same as before the surgery. However, I wonder if the hair will fully grow back. She looks weird today as half of her back is covered with full hair and the second half is covered with a small down. Do you know if there is any risk her hair will not grow back as beautiful as before? And how long does it take to grow back?

My little guy had the same surgery on both legs at once (shaved down both legs and halfway up his waist). Almost 1 year later he is completely bald on his back to his tail and the ONLY place the hair has grown back is where the scaring was down the front side of both legs! It is that beautiful long puppy hair (not fur) and it looks wonderful. Many people have commented on his "original" haircut, unaware that all I have done is some trimming to make what's left look interesting... All you can do is Love them for what they've got - right?
